![]() In November 2019, Wang signed an exclusive deal with Facebook Gaming for his gaming streams. By that time he had 1.3 million followers on Twitch and 950k subscribers on his main You Tube channel. During the time, he was the second most-watched streamer on Twitch. In the summer of 2019, he gained a huge following while streaming Riot Games’ new game Teamfight Tactics, and another spike during the test phase of Riot’s upcoming card game, Legends of Runeterra. Wang later became known for his Hearthstone streams. It was announced in October 2017 that Wang had joined Offline TV, a collective of content creators living together in Los Angeles, California. Wang was temporarily banned from Hearthstone in June 2017, for 72 hours in response to an instance in which he showed an exploit on stream. Despite making it into the top 32, he overslept the following morning and was disqualified. In March 2017, he competed in the ONOG major circuit at PAX East. Wang covered his face with a toast-shaped cardboard mask until he revealed his face by mistake in October 2016. Toast said he did this so he could scare his audience and prank them. 2 days later, he got unbanned and revealed that he had faked his ban by asking LilyPichu to false-copystrike him while he was live. Similarily to fellow OfflineTV member Pokimane who livestreamed the series Avatar: The Last Airbender. On January 11, 2022, Toast was banned from Twitch due to a violation of Twitch's Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) policy by live-streaming the anime Death Note. Most of his titles have a high IQ (increasing by 100 IQ for every video). He has made high IQ imposter plays and can easily find out who is the Imposter as a crewmate. Disguised Toast is well known in the Among Us community as one of the best Among us players in the world. He has recently started uploading content on Among Us, a game made by Innersloth, he has played with different YouTubers which consists of Valkyrae, Sykkuno, Corpse Husband, and others. In November 2019, Toast announced that he moved from Twitch to Facebook Gaming but later on moved back to Twitch on November 2021. In October of 2017, Toast joined OfflineTV, a group of internet personalities that currently consist of Pokimane, Michael Reeves, and more. While making content on Hearthstone, Toast also made videos on the origins of the characters of some cards. Sometime after, Toast began making Hearthstone plays and uploading them to YouTube. ![]() While Toast was initially disappointed it was not Diablo 4, saying "nobody wants to play just a card game", his brother was very into card games, which allowed Toast to try it out himself, eventually getting into it. ![]() While contemplating at the lack of opportunities presented for his three-year degree, Blizzard Entertainment announced its newest game at the time, Hearthstone. ![]() He shifted to a major in mathematics, but felt he was not cut out to finish the full four-year degree, so he went and graduated a three-year Bachelor's degree in mathematics instead. However, in his third year, he eventually dropped out of computer science because while he enjoyed its practical applications, he struggled with its theoretical aspects, particularly with Big Oh notations. During the summer, he worked at different companies, such as Zynga (FarmVille), Mercedes-Benz, the NFL, and the Royal Bank of Canada. His time with making Flash games motivated him to study at the University of Waterloo, majoring in computer science. This has started him on a journey to "make as much money as he can". An unknown company bought the rights to one of his Flash games for $1000. During his time there, he self-taught himself how to program and animate video games in Flash. Later on, he and his family moved to Ontario, Canada where he studied high school at Queen's University in Kingston. He often alternated between Chinese and English schools there, which Toast remarks not only allowed him to be able to speak in Mandarin, but also has a profound effect in the way he speaks in English. At the age of one, his family moved to Penang, Malaysia, which is where he spent most of his childhood. Toast was born in Taipei, Taiwan as the youngest of a family with an older brother and sister.
